Most of us know how nuts are good for our health. It's true, they hold a big amount of fats, carbs and oils. These oils and fats are very important for our body. They are called good fats. Who doesn't like eating some nuts in front of the TV. You get your bowl of nuts and press play. Then you end up with empty bowl from the first part of the movie. Nuts are very pleasant snacks. Lots of diets include nuts even with their high calorie and fats. There must be a good reason for that. I think most of us love pistachios. That's why I will write today about pistachios. Be ready to be amazed.

Pistachios are known for their fantastic flavor and unique green color. They are packed with vitamins and minerals. Pistachio are a great source of vitamin B-6, Copper, Thiamin, Manganese and Phosphorus. You will find in pistachios vitamins like vitamin K, E, A, C, Riboflavin, Folate, Niacin,  and Pantothenic Acid. They are rich with other minerals like Magnesium, Potassium, Selenium, Iron, Zinc and Calcium. Pistachios are great type of nuts cause they are rich in fibers and proteins and low in cholesterol and sodium.

After all of these splendid amount of nutrition, we need to know the benefits of these nutrition facts on our body. Are pistachios good or bad for our health? Is it okay to add them to my diet? What will happen to my body when I add pistachios to my food? These are wonderful and to the point questions. If you take care of your food and diet, these questions are the first thing that comes to your mind. However, I will tell you what benefit your body will gain from pistachios. 

Pistachios are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory effects. They are great for your eye health as they help in preventing eye diseases. I guess we all know that pistachios and nuts in general are very important for digestion system and guts health. Because of the protein amount in pistachios, they promote healthy gut bacteria which is fantastic for your digestion health. Adding them to your diet will help you enjoy a healthy digestion process. Pistachios help in balancing blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar level. They can prevent colon cancer and heart diseases. Pistachios hold low calories but a big amount of protein than other nuts. That's why they help in reducing and weight management.

Eating pistachios is super fun even as normal nuts. Nowadays, pistachios are found in lots of amazing dishes. You can enjoy pistachios in different ways. Did you know that you can find pistachio nut milk. How about a glass of delicious vanilla and pistachio, pistachio milkshake, pistachio latte, pistachio smoothie and more. Who doesn't love a refreshing, nutty and creamy pistachio ice cream? Pistachios can be added to savory dishes like salmon, steak, chicken, scallops, salad, rice, pasta and more. 

     

Pistachios add a remarkable flavor to any kind of dessert. It's not right to have baklava without pistachios. You can have pistachio cake, cookie, pudding, brownie, tiramisu, pie, cheesecake, doughnut, macron and lots of other magnificent dishes. So, that's my friend what you should do today. You need to add a tolerable amount of pistachios to your diet. It will help balancing your meal and your body will benefit from it. Knowing more about your food and ingredients is very important. You will be alert about everything that enters your body and control it. Be smart and don't waste it.
